As a Chiropractor I use many different hands-on techniques with the purpose to allow proper alignment of the body's musculoskeletal structure, particularly the spine, which will enable the body to heal itself without surgery or medication. After 10 years working on different injuries from newborns, athletes and now even an animal side to our company. I am confident that I can help many people with musculoskeletal issues/injuries. Spinal manipulation is only a small part of the treatment that I offer. We have invested in many high tech alternative treatments, including laser therapy and shockwave. I use many forms of advanced muscle release techniques to revolutionize the care that my patients receive. This is why our satisfaction & success rates from feedback is “excellent”.
James Noble Sports, Pregnancy & Peadiatric Chiropractor
Hi, my name is James and I am a qualified Exercise, Sport and Coaching Scientist as well as a Registered Chiropractor
I was first introduced to chiropractic at the age of 14, after a serious rugby injury. I used, and still use chiropractic to keep me doing the things I love, sports!
I have been involved in a number of sports in the past. Rugby initially kept me busy, but when I decided to retire I went into long distance triathlon racing (Ironman). Having completed 3 full races (2.5 mile swim, 112 mile bike and full marathon (26.2miles)) and 3 half Ironman races, the time required to train for these events took too much time away from spending quality time with my family (my wife, 4 kids and 4 dogs).
As I still enjoy my sports, I decided to try something new and now regularly ride my mountain bike. You can catch me riding at local trails, trails further afield and even bigger stuff abroad. I also still enjoy being on the water, more on than in now using my Stand Up Paddle Board.
Three years ago I completed the Titleist Performance Institute course to help aid the improvement of people’s golf swing and try to prevent injury.
Having my own children, I have first hand experience of seeing the benefits of chiropractic treatment. Children put themselves through stresses day to day, from sitting in school to sitting on electronic devices. For this reason, my children are treated regularly.
Having completed a Sports Nutritional Advisors course, this along with my personal experience in competition I can also advise on dietary matters to help with gaining peak performance in sport and daily life. So, whether it is day to day irritations, a sporting strain or injury, pregnancy related discomfort or you want your little one checked over, I look forward to seeing you soon.
Shannon Leach Chiropractor & Acupuncturist
With over 16 years clinical experience, we are very fortunate to have Dr Shannon Leach join the RCG team.
Shannon completed his Bachelor of Applied Science/Bachelor of Chiropractic Science at Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology in 2002. Prior to studying chiropractic, Shannon spent four years training as an acupuncturist, which he completed in 1995 and now uses in conjunction with chiropractic care to assist patients to achieve their health goals. After finishing his studies Shannon practiced in a number of clinics in Australia before relocating to the United Kingdom in 2005 for ten years to further his experience and see what Europe had to offer. We are very lucky that he has decided to join our group of experts.
Shannon sees chiropractic care as vital in influencing the muscular, joint and nervous system of the patient, as they provide the basis for a person's wellbeing. He uses a variety of techniques to treat both spinal and peripheral joint conditions including Diversified Adjusting, Thompson Drop-Piece, Sacro-occipital Technique, Activator Adjusting (hand-held instrument), Trigger Point Therapy and Acupuncture. Shannon is used to seeing patients of a wide range of ages as well as acute and chronic long-term conditions. He focuses on patient education to help them understand their presenting complaints, the underlying cause and how the patient can play an active role in improving their wellbeing.

I am experienced in a number of therapies, all focusing on positive mental health. These include clinical hypnotherapy, positive psychotherapy, Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness as well as life coaching and counselling. I have over 10 years of experience in helping people to be and to feel their best. It has always been my passion to help people learn how to be their best selves, to be healthy and happy every day.
I am a senior member of the Accredited Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists (ACCPH), registered member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy (NCH) and Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC). I adhere to a strong code of ethics, acting with discretion and always with my client’s best interests and welfare at heart.
As each individual is different, I believe that there’s no ‘one size fits all’ solution to therapy. And because of this, I tailor each session according to the background, personality and goals of the individual. Appropriate techniques are integrated and applied throughout the sessions to support the individual to overcome their issues and enhance their contentment and wellbeing.
I work with a wide range of people, each with their own specific issues and struggles. From emotional and psychological issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, pain management, phobias, negative thoughts and low self-esteem to personal development. I promise a safe and confidential space, warmth and empathy. I will always work to not only lift the weight of negative emotions and illness but also to support the individual to obtain well-being in the long-term – to take back control of their life and be mentally healthy and happy.

I'm Norma and I am one of the receptionists at the Holburn Street branch. My background was as a District Nurse in the NHS where I trained as a General nurse, Midwife and finally for the last 34 years as District Nursing Sister in community. I thoroughly enjoyed my nursing career, but after completing 40 years service, it was time to retire and move aside for some younger nurses to take up the post.
For the last 2.5 years I have been part of this family team, and thoroughly enjoy meeting new patients, and learning from this highly qualified team. It is always inspiring to talk and listen to colleagues and patients, as we are always learning something new each day!
I enjoy golfing and participating in matches all over Aberdeenshire.

Hi my name is Maggie and have recently started working as part of the reception team at Riverside Chiropractic Group (RCG). My background was Oil and Gas but I decided I wanted a complete change and work within a smaller organisation. Since working within RCG I have learned so much from all the different practitioners and have enjoyed meeting new people. Everyone here is so friendly and supportive. Nothing is too much trouble. RGC is a very caring company and totally professional.

Alison Maclennan Clinical Receptionist
My name is Alison, and I have worked at RCG for a few years now. The practice has grown so much since I first started, and it has a very friendly and welcoming feel to it, which I’m proud to be a part of.
I am a mum of 2 lovely boys and enjoy spending my free time doing family activities, and socialising with friends. I get my "feel good feeling" from participating in classes at the gym, and also from swimming and taking some time out in the spa facilities. I have taken part in various sports over the years and am always keen to try something new. Having been a patient receiving chiropractic treatments here myself for a number of years, I have an understanding of how a patient may feel when they come to the clinic. So I hope to use this to make patients feel at ease when they visit us. I look forward to meeting patients, old and new, and am glad to be a part of such a friendly team.

Georgia Stephen Sports Massage Therapist
My name is Georgia and I am a professionally qualified Sports Massage Therapist and a graduate in Sports and Exercise Science.
I have always had a passion for helping people, but the experience I got during my 20 plus hours of case study work showed me just how positive an effect Sports Massage Therapy can have on an individual. Both as a treatment and a preventative method, and it was exactly these positive changes that motivated me to improve after every session.
Sports massage treatment is always centered around the patient, whatever their age, occupation or ailment, which means each session will be unique and I am ecstatic to be able to work with such a diverse range of patients!
Outside the clinic you'll find me in the gym lifting heavy weights, or participating in whatever muddy running competitions I can get to!
