Hi, my name is James and I am a qualified Exercise, Sport and Coaching Scientist as well as a Registered Chiropractor I was first introduced to chiropractic at the age of 14, after a serious rugby injury. I used, and still use chiropractic to keep me doing the things I love, sports! I have been involved in a number of sports in the past. Rugby initially kept me busy, but when I decided to retire I went into long distance triathlon racing (Ironman). Having completed 3 full races (2.5 mile swim, 112 mile bike and full marathon (26.2miles) and 3 half Ironman races, the time required to train for these events took too much time away from spending quality time with my family (my wife, 4 kids and 4 dogs). As I still enjoy my sports, I decided to try something new and now regularly ride my mountain bike. You can catch me riding at local trails, trails further afield and even bigger stuff abroad. I also still enjoy being on the water, more on than in now using my Stand Up Paddle Board. I completed the Titleist Performance Institute course in 2017 to help aid the improvement of people’s golf swing and try to prevent injury. Having my own children, I have first hand experience of seeing the benefits of chiropractic treatment. Children put themselves through stresses day to day, from sitting in school to sitting on electronic devices. For this reason, my children are treated regularly. Having completed a Sports Nutritional Advisors course, this along with my personal experience in competition I can also advise on dietary matters to help with gaining peak performance in sport and daily life. So, whether it is day to day irritations, a sporting strain or injury, pregnancy related discomfort or you want your little one checked over, I look forward to seeing you soon.
