3D VJUVE Treatment

Revolutionary skin rejuvenation designed to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin.

3D VJUVE TREATMENT is a revolutionary procedure designed to rejuvenate and revitalise the skin, offering our patients the ultimate outcome in skin rejuvenation.

It uses a medical-grade CO2 laser system that provides fractional (70-80 degree heat) skin resurfacing.

It treats signs of ageing like wrinkles, pigmentation and scars, as well as skin laxity (weakness and decreased tightness). This innovative new approach yields remarkable results for various skin concerns, making it a popular choice for those seeking to improve their skin's appearance.

It works by using controlled, micro-ablative heat to stimulate collagen and elastin production, resulting in firmer, smoother skin with reduced scarring, without the need for harsh chemical peels and needles.

Key Features And Benefits

  • Targeted skin concerns: Specifically addresses fine lines, wrinkles, dull complexion, under-eye bags, turkey neck, acne scars, sun damage, pimple reduction, pore minimisation, hyperplasia, and uneven skin tone and texture.
  • Body targeted concerns: Stretch marks, acne, sun damage, uneven tone, scars, weak, loose and crepey skin, surgical scars, or trauma, including self-harm scars.
  • Controlled treatment: The laser delivers controlled heat to the dermis, triggering the body's natural healing response to boost collagen production.
  • Minimal downtime: Compared to traditional laser resurfacing, 3D VJUVE offers a more comfortable, faster recovery, though some healing downtime is expected of 2-10 days. Most of our clients return to work the next day and can exercise again 48 hours later.
  • Suitability: Primarily used on the face, but also effective on the neck, décolletage, stretch marks, scars on the body and hands for visible signs of ageing.

Treatment Details

  • Procedure time: Typically takes between 30-60 minutes, depending on the amount of surface area you wish to be covered.
  • Procedure experience: A patch test and consultation are required, usually 7 days before treatment.
  • Recovery: Skin may be sensitive, red or swollen, and may experience flaking in the days following the procedure.
  • Aftercare: It is essential to avoid hot baths and saunas and, most importantly, apply high-factor SPF (30+) to protect treated areas.
  • Exercise: High-intensity exercise should be halted for 48 hours to reduce sweating and increased heat.
  • Hydration: Water and hydration are essential for quick recovery - 2.5-3 litres daily.
  • Collagen renewal: New 'baby' collagen grows under the old broken, aged collagen for the next 3 months and a fresher, smoother, younger appearance will then be revealed.
  • Treatment intervals: Treatments can be administered every 4-6 weeks if working on deeper or more damaged skin.
  • Recommended course: A course of treatment is 5 sessions every 4 weeks for full facial, body or combined collagen regeneration.
  • Follow-ups: Collagen ages over time (approximately 2% per year). A refresh treatment session is recommended every 6-12 months for optimal long-term results.

Frequently Asked Questions

It feels like prickly heat on your skin or mild sunburn.

A little like being zapped for 2 seconds per touch with minute electrical impulses.

We would not describe it as relaxing, but it is tolerable.

Downtime for CO2 fractional ablative laser treatment is typically anywhere between 2-10 days, depending on your skin type and the agreed laser intensity or power used during treatment.

This can appear as raised, red, very dry, flaky or scabby skin. The laser leaves patterns of red squares where it has been targeted on your skin and these may be clearly visible for the first few days, eventually drying and flaking off, leaving your skin pink for a few more days.

If downtime concerns you, we can adjust the settings (strength and fractional aspect) of the laser, but it will take longer to see your results.

It is significantly more effective than skin peels or micro-needling because it resurfaces the skin to a deeper level (dermis and epidermis up to 2mm), with fewer risks.

New collagen grows underneath the old layers, which then shed and resurface. The full results are usually visible in 2-3 months.

Yes. The skin energy is actively absorbed by water, not ink, unlike a laser hair removal system.

Yes, but it is recommended to use topical melanin inhibitors daily for 4 weeks prior.

Please speak to your dermatologist.

You will also require 6 weeks between treatments.

Who Is This Treatment Not Suitable For?
